Mario
Codebò was born in Genoa in 1952, has made
classical and medical studies and subsequently archaeology and palaeoetnology. He has made also archaeological research
and surveys.
Has
published more than forty works of archaeoastronomy and he has doing the
Italian translation of the Michael Hoskin’s book
"Tombs, temples and their orientations, published in Italy in June 2006
by Ananke with the title "Stele e stelle", which has included a updated summary of
research conducted in Italian peninsula. In
2000 he founded, with Henry De Santis, "Archeoastronomia Ligustica"
Centre for Research in Archaeoastronomy and Cultural Astronomy. In
2002 he organized and led, with other, the international meeting
"Archaeoastronomy: a debate between archaeologists and astronomers
looking for a common method", and is the curator of the print
proceedings. He
conduct conferences and video projections and in 2002, 2006 and 2009 he took
lessons of archaeoastronomy at the courses of the Interdisciplinary School
for Archaeological Methods (SIMA) of International Institute for Ligurian Studies.

Henry
De Santis was born in Genoa in 1979 and after
attending the Nautical School for "Master Mariner Certificate for
maritime captain" and carrying out a period of navigation is dedicated
to the study of archaeoastronomy, archaeology and palaeoetnology.
He
carried out pre-proto historical archaeological excavations in Italy and has
taken part in archaeological missions in South Africa, India, Central Asia
and Sultanate of Oman. Is Honorary Inspector of Italian Ministry of
Cultural Heritage and Tourism (Mi.B.A.C.T.) and is
Correspondent Academic Member of Italian Archaeological Academy. Lecturer
and populariser about archaeoastronomy, he took, in 2009, lessons of
archaeoastronomy at the courses of the Interdisciplinary School for Archaeological
Methods (SIMA) of International Institute for Ligurian
Studies
